1874 r. miasto stało się właścicielem
lasu leżącego na południe od jeziora,
zwanego dziś Lasem Miejskim. Tu zaczęły po-
wstawać plaża miejska z pomostem i kawiarnią
(1912 r.). Do nich wytyczono z miasta szlak
turystyczny, biorący swój początek w Parku
Miejskim.

n 1874, the town became the owner of the
forest lying south of the lake, called the
Town Forest today. There were built the town
beach with a pier and a cafe (1912). The Town
marked a hiking trail to them, taking its origin
in the Town Park. This park was named after
Bronislaw Pieracki in the interwar period.

874 nahm die Stadt Lidzbark in den Besitz
ein südlich vom See gelegenes Waldgebiet,
einen Stadtwald „Leśniczówka“ genannt. Hier
wurden 1912 ein Stadtstrand mit Stegen und
ein Gasthaus gebaut. Von hier aus bis zum in
der Zwischenkriegszeit genannten Pieracki –
Stadtpark, der sich am Rande der Stadt befand,
steckte man eine touristische Route ab.
