aprzeciwko lidzbarskiego parku rozpoczynającego alejkę nad Jeziorem
Lidzbarskim, przy dzisiejszej ul. Sądowej (niem. Gerichtsstrasse) znajduje
się okazały budynek dzisiejszego Urzędu Miasta i Gminy w Lidzbarku. Budynek
ten oddano do użytku w 1887 r. dla Sądu Grodzkiego. Tuż za nim mieściło się
więzienie. Działalność sądowa w Lidzbarku trwała od bardzo dawna. Już w I po-
łowie XV w. w mieście odbywały się procesy sądowe.

pposite the park, starting Lidzbark alley at Lidzbarskie Lake, at today’s
Sadowa Street (German Gerichtsstrasse) is an impressive building of the
present Town and Borough Department. This building was opened in 1887 for
the Municipal Court. Right behind it there was a prison. Judicial activities in
Lidzbark lasted for a very long time. Already in the first half of 15th century,
lawsuits took place.

egenüber dem am Lidzbarskie See gelegenen Park befindet sich ein präch-
tiges Gebäude, das 1887 errichtet wurde. In diesem gab es damals ein Sąd
Grodzki genanntes Amtsgericht und ein Gefängnis. Heute ist hier der Sitz des
Stadt -und Gemeindeamtes in Lidzbark, an der Sądowa – Straße, früher Ge-
richtsstraße.
