Das Bild illustriert die Geländeübungen der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr (Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna – OSP) in Lidzbark auf
dem Marktplatz. Im Hintergrund sind die Reste der nördlichen Fassade, die1945 von den Sowjetsoldaten verbrannt wur-
de, zu sehen. Dahinter steht das heutige Apothekengebäude am Hallerplatz.

Photography from the 50s of the twentieth century shows the fireman displays in the region
of southern – east corner of 19th January Square. In the photograph there are visible gaps in
the southern frontage of the buildings made in 1945. In the upper left corner there is a depart-
ment store.
